For Sree Green Energy, sustainability is not an add-on reporting exercise. It is built into the way projects are planned, developed, constructed, and operated.

The company has a renewable energy portfolio of over 640 MW at present, which helps in offsetting approximately 0.83 million tonnes of CO2 per year. It plans to increase this to 650 MW by 2029-30. This will likely lead to an annual carbon offset potential of about 0.84 million tonnes of CO2 which is nearly 0.84 million carbon credits per year.

This growth bolsters Sree Green Energy’s contribution to climate goals and unlocks additional long-term carbon value potential.
